Best Sales Enablement Software & Platforms in 2026: 12 Tools Compared

The short answer: for enterprise content management plus training, the leading sales enablement platforms are Highspot and Seismic, which became one company when their merger closed on August 18, 2026 (both products are still sold). Showpad is the third enterprise option and now includes Bigtincan. Mindtickle and Allego lead on readiness and coaching. If you want published prices, GetAccept ($25 to $49 per user a month), Paperflite (from $27.50) and HubSpot Sales Hub Pro ($90 per seat) are the self-serve routes. Every price below is vendor-published or from a named source, checked September 2026.

Your CRM tells you what happened. Sales enablement software shapes what reps say, show and send before a deal closes. Salesforce’s 2026 State of Sales report (4,050 sales professionals) found the average seller spends only 40% of their time selling, and among Gen Z reps, 47% say they don’t get enough roleplay practice before customer calls. Those are the two gaps enablement tools exist to close: time lost hunting for content, and reps who haven’t practised the conversation.

What are sales enablement platforms?

Sales enablement platforms equip reps with the content, training and buyer data they need to move deals forward. They sit between marketing (which creates assets) and the CRM (which records outcomes). The category covers three jobs:

  • Content management: organizing, personalizing and surfacing decks, case studies, one-pagers and playbooks.
  • Buyer engagement: digital sales rooms, tracked documents and e-signatures that show how buyers interact.
  • Readiness and coaching: onboarding programs, role-play, call review and manager feedback.

“Sales enablement tools” is often used for the narrower point products (a tracked-link tool, a knowledge base), while “platforms” usually means suites that cover all three jobs. Companies of every size buy them, from a 10-person startup standardizing its pitch to a 500-rep enterprise governing content across product lines.

Who needs sales enablement software?

  • B2B teams with long deal cycles: reps handle several stakeholders per deal and need battle cards, ROI material and case studies per persona.
  • Sales managers and enablement leads: you need to know which content reps actually use and whether playbooks are followed.
  • Revenue operations: you are trying to shorten ramp time and build a repeatable, measurable process.
  • Field sales teams: reps need content on tablets and phones, in front of customers.
  • Marketing teams supporting sales: you have a content library but no visibility into what sales uses or what buyers engage with.

Key features to look for

Content organization and search

Reps should find the right asset in seconds. Look for tagging, filters and AI search that surface content by deal stage, industry or persona, not just by filename.

Content personalization

Reps should be able to tailor decks and one-pagers without breaking brand rules. Templates with editable fields strike the balance.

Buyer engagement analytics

You want to know whether a prospect opened the proposal, which pages they read and whether they shared it. DocSend, GetAccept and the digital sales rooms in Highspot and Seismic all do this.

Sales coaching and training

Learning paths, role-play and call feedback. This is where Mindtickle, Allego and Gong Enable focus, and where Highspot now adds AI Role Play.

CRM integration

Activity data should flow back into Salesforce, HubSpot or your CRM of record. If reps have to update two systems, they will update neither.

Analytics and reporting

Content performance, rep adoption and deal influence reports let enablement leads prove value and prune the library.

Mobile access

Field reps need materials on a tablet or phone. Check the native mobile app and its offline behaviour before you commit.

The best sales enablement software in 2026

Enterprise content and enablement suites

Highspot (by Seismic)

Highspot is now sold as “Highspot by Seismic”, described as “an AI platform for revenue execution that helps go-to-market teams turn intelligence into action.” Current features include a GTM Agent, Deal Agent, AI Role Play, digital sales rooms and conversational intelligence, alongside the content management and guided selling it is known for.

Best for: mid-market to enterprise teams that want content, coaching and analytics in one place.
Pricing: quote-only (“Request Pricing”). Vendr reports a median of $60,005 a year, with a range of $16,163 to $177,366. See the Highspot profile.

Seismic

Seismic is the enterprise content platform that now owns Highspot. Its current product covers content management, digital sales rooms, the Aura AI layer, meeting intelligence and Seismic Learning (the training product built on its Lessonly acquisition). After the merger Seismic reports 2,500 customers and 3.5 million users.

Best for: large sales organizations governing high volumes of content across products and regions.
Pricing: quote-only. Vendr says smaller teams buying core Seismic Enablement typically pay $30,000 to $100,000 a year, and mid-market and enterprise contracts commonly run $50,000 to $500,000+. See the Seismic profile.

Showpad (with Bigtincan)

Showpad changed shape in 2025. Vector Capital acquired Bigtincan in April 2025 and Showpad in October 2025, and the combined company runs under the Showpad brand with more than 2,000 customers. Bigtincan had earlier absorbed ClearSlide and Modus, so those products now sit inside Showpad (ClearSlide “remains supported for existing customers”). Showpad’s plans (Professional, Advanced, Expert) each bundle content management, sales readiness, shared spaces for buyers and the Genie AI assistant, licensed per user.

Best for: field sales and manufacturing or life-sciences teams that present content in front of customers.
Pricing: quote-only. Vendr reports a median of $34,875 a year (range $13,690 to $129,240).

Readiness and coaching platforms

Mindtickle

Mindtickle focuses on sales readiness: onboarding, training, role-play and skill tracking, with content and coaching around it. It fits teams whose biggest cost is how long new reps take to become productive.

Pricing: quote-only. Vendr says small deployments of 10 to 50 users typically run $50,000 to $150,000 a year, plus onboarding. See the Mindtickle profile.

Allego

Allego combines sales learning, video coaching and conversation intelligence. Its pricing page says: “We price per user per month, billed annually upfront,” with price points depending on seats and contract length.

Pricing: not published. Vendr reports a median contract of $49,600. See the Allego profile.

Gong Enable

Gong launched Gong Enable in February 2026 (AI Call Reviewer, AI Trainer, initiative tracking) and added Dry Run role-play and an AI Coach in June 2026. It makes most sense if Gong already records your calls, since coaching runs off those conversations. Pricing is quote-only; our Gong pricing guide explains how Gong contracts are structured, and best conversation intelligence software compares the alternatives.

Enablement inside your CRM

Salesforce Sales Programs

Salesforce’s enablement add-on is now called Sales Programs: $100 per user per month, billed annually, on top of Sales Cloud, and it “requires an annual contract.” It covers program builder, revenue and conversation milestones, in-app coaching and guidance, and enablement analytics. It does not include a content library or digital sales rooms.

HubSpot Sales Hub

For HubSpot teams, Sales Hub Professional ($90 per seat per month billed annually, $100 monthly) includes up to 5 playbooks for guided calls and note capture; Enterprise ($150 per seat) raises that to 5,000. Starter is $7 per seat billed annually. It is not a content platform, but for a small team it covers call guidance without another vendor. See the HubSpot Sales Hub profile.

Deal engagement tools

GetAccept

GetAccept focuses on the stretch after the proposal goes out. Its Professional plan is “the complete AI Digital Sales Room experience,” bundling proposals, video, chat and e-signature in one shared space per deal.

Pricing: eSign $25 per user per month; Professional $49 per user per month, minimum 5 users, billed annually; Enterprise on request. See the GetAccept profile.

DocSend

DocSend, part of Dropbox, turns every shared document into a tracked link with per-page analytics. Its plans include data rooms (Spaces), NDA and other gating, revocable access and unlimited e-signature requests on higher tiers.

Pricing: self-serve plans are listed on docsend.com; the page blocked automated checks when we verified, so confirm the current price there. See the DocSend profile.

Paperflite

Paperflite is a content hub with sharing analytics and one of the few in the category that publishes prices: Starter $27.50, Professional $47.50 and Advanced $57 per user per month on annual billing (minimum 5 users), or $30, $50 and $60 month to month. See the Paperflite profile.

Knowledge and just-in-time guidance

Guru

Guru has repositioned as a governed knowledge layer that keeps answers trustworthy for both people and AI tools, with automated verification, a browser extension, Slack integration and a Knowledge Agent chat. Its pricing page no longer lists per-seat prices (“not just a per-seat tool”). Vendr reports a median of $39,521 a year. See the Guru profile.

Spekit

Spekit calls itself “AI-first revenue enablement for every rep and every agent,” delivering bite-size guidance inside the tools reps already use. Pricing is fully customized; Vendr reports a median of $16,308 a year. See the Spekit profile.

Highspot vs Seismic: which should you choose now?

Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on August 18, 2026, and the combined company is called Seismic, led by CEO Rob Tarkoff. Seismic’s merger FAQ says “All products will continue to be supported and invested in” and “Nothing changes with your existing investment,” including contract, pricing and renewal terms for now. The first joint roadmap is due at Seismic Shift on October 12 to 15, 2026.

So for a purchase today, compare them as two products from one owner:

  • Highspot leads on guided selling, digital sales rooms and its newer AI agents and role play; Vendr’s median contract is $60,005.
  • Seismic leads on large-scale content automation and governance for big, multi-product libraries; Vendr puts smaller-team contracts at $30,000 to $100,000.

If you are signing a multi-year deal before the October roadmap, ask for written terms on migration rights and price protection. Features and reviews side by side: Highspot vs Seismic.

Highspot vs Salesforce: do you need both?

Usually they are complementary. Salesforce is the CRM, and its own enablement layer, Sales Programs, handles programs, milestones and in-app coaching for $100 per user per month. It does not manage a content library. Highspot’s Salesforce integration connects to Sales Cloud, Agentforce, Sales Programs and Service Cloud, embeds deal-specific content recommendations in Salesforce, lets reps share digital sales rooms from Salesforce records, and auto-relates buyer engagement back to those records. Choose Sales Programs alone if your need is structured onboarding and milestones inside Salesforce; add Highspot when reps need governed content, sales rooms and engagement analytics. Compare them on Highspot vs Salesforce.

Sales enablement software pricing guide

Most enterprise platforms are quote-only and sold on annual contracts. What we can confirm from vendor pages and Vendr’s buyer data:

Price band Examples (source)
Published per-user pricing, under $60/user/month GetAccept $25 to $49 (vendor); Paperflite $27.50 to $60 (vendor); HubSpot Sales Hub Starter $7 (vendor)
CRM add-ons and suites HubSpot Sales Hub Pro $90/seat (vendor); Salesforce Sales Programs $100/user (vendor, annual)
Mid-market annual contracts Spekit median $16,308; Showpad median $34,875; Guru median $39,521; Allego median $49,600 (Vendr)
Enterprise annual contracts Highspot median $60,005; Mindtickle $50,000 to $150,000 for 10 to 50 users; Seismic $30,000 to $500,000+ (Vendr)

What pushes the price up: adding a readiness or coaching module to a content platform, more seats, extra CRM integrations, SSO and security requirements, and paid onboarding (Vendr lists onboarding fees of several thousand dollars and up for Showpad, Mindtickle and Highspot). The only published seat minimums we found are GetAccept Professional and Paperflite, both 5 users.

How to choose sales enablement software

  1. Start with the bottleneck. Outdated or scattered content: Highspot, Seismic, Showpad or Paperflite. Deals stalling after the proposal: GetAccept or DocSend. Slow ramp: Mindtickle, Allego or Gong Enable.
  2. Check your CRM first. On Salesforce, price Sales Programs before buying a separate readiness tool. On HubSpot, check integration depth; some platforms treat HubSpot as a secondary integration.
  3. Size the content library. 20 assets in a shared drive don’t need enterprise governance. 500 assets across five product lines do.
  4. Involve reps in the trial. The tool reps actually open beats the one with the longest feature list.
  5. Price the full contract. Ask for onboarding fees, seat minimums and renewal caps in writing, and after the Seismic and Showpad mergers, ask how the roadmap affects your product.

Sales enablement vs CRM: what’s the difference?

Dimension CRM (e.g. Salesforce) Sales enablement software
Primary data Pipeline, contacts, activities, deal history Content, training, buyer engagement
Primary user Reps (logging) and managers (forecasting) Reps (finding content) and enablement leads (building programs)
Core output Pipeline visibility and forecasts Rep effectiveness and content adoption
Buyer signal What happened, logged after the fact What is happening now, from real-time engagement

Your CRM is the system of record; the enablement platform is the system of execution. The best setups integrate the two so engagement data lands on CRM deals automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best sales enablement platform in 2026?

For enterprise content plus coaching, Highspot or Seismic (now one company). For readiness and ramp time, Mindtickle or Allego. For small teams that want published pricing, GetAccept, Paperflite or HubSpot Sales Hub Pro.

Did Seismic buy Highspot?

Yes. The merger was announced in February 2026 and completed on August 18, 2026. The combined company is Seismic, and Highspot is sold as “Highspot by Seismic.” Seismic says both products will continue to be supported.

How much does sales enablement software cost?

Published tools run $25 to $60 per user per month (GetAccept, Paperflite). Enterprise platforms are quote-only; Vendr’s buyer data shows medians of $34,875 for Showpad, $49,600 for Allego and $60,005 for Highspot a year.

What are examples of sales enablement tools?

  • Content platforms: Highspot, Seismic, Showpad, Paperflite
  • Readiness and coaching: Mindtickle, Allego, Gong Enable
  • Deal engagement: GetAccept, DocSend
  • Knowledge: Guru, Spekit

Which sales enablement tool integrates best with a CRM?

Salesforce Sales Programs and HubSpot Sales Hub live inside their CRMs. Among standalone platforms, Highspot’s Salesforce integration connects to Sales Cloud, Agentforce and Sales Programs and writes buyer engagement back to records automatically.

Is sales enablement the same as a CRM?

No. A CRM records what happened in a deal; enablement software prepares reps for what happens next, with content, coaching and buyer engagement data. Most teams past a handful of reps run both, integrated.

What happened to ClearSlide and Modus?

Both were bought by Bigtincan, which merged with Showpad in 2025 under Vector Capital’s ownership. ClearSlide is supported for existing customers inside Showpad; neither is sold as a standalone product for new buyers.

Conclusion

Match the tool to the bottleneck: Highspot or Seismic for content at scale, Showpad for field teams, Mindtickle or Allego for ramp and coaching, GetAccept or DocSend for deal engagement, and Guru or Spekit when reps can’t find answers. Compare every option in the sales enablement software category.
